Why pay upwards of £720.00 for a Microsoft Project license (with software assurance) or £420.00 without SA, when you can rent the application running in a secure data centre with 1 GB of storage for project data files for only £29.99 per user per month with upgrades for life?
We also offer a 12 month contract for £329.89 – one month FREE (which is still less than buying a copy outright). Remember if you have 4 users/computers that need to run Microsoft Project you need to purchase 4 copies at £1920.00. To start 4 users running on our system costs £119.96 for a month, and we will rent this to you on a month by month basis. Also different users can access this system (using the logon names and passwords provided) but only 4 users at any one time which you won’t get when installed on a PC or laptop.
So what is the catch?
There isn’t any catch. No setup fee, you can try it out for a couple of days with zero commitment and then if you like it you pay for a month’s service, that is it!
How do we do it?
We have signed up to a license agreement that allows us to rent Microsoft Software to our customers. The fee above includes a Microsoft Project SAL (Software Access License), a Microsoft Windows SAL (a license to connect to our Windows Servers) and finally a Windows Remote Desktop SAL (a license to remotely connect to our Windows Desktop infrastructure). We declare all our licenses monthly to Microsoft so you can be assured you are completely compliant in terms of licensing with Microsoft and running Microsoft Project on our systems.
What are the other benefits?
- You can just run Microsoft Project on a month by month basis as and when you get a project that requires Microsoft Project to run it effectively allowing the software to be used based on your demand for it. You can start using the product at anytime during the month.
- You have no major capital expenditure for Microsoft Project you can run the application for just £29.99 and this is considered to be an OPEX rather than a CAPEX expense (trust us your accountant will be glad you took this option!)
- The boxed product or standard Microsoft Business License agreement does not get any upgrade rights. With our solution you can upgrade to the next release at no charge as soon as it is available and we have certified it for use on our systems usually this is around 3-6 months after release for a desktop product
- We will be backing up all your project files and provide 1GB of dedicated storage for this – more is available – however you are also able to save the project files to any local shared drive (mapped drive) you may have including the C:\ drive on your PC or a mapped drive to a server in your local office
- You can access your copy of Project anywhere there is an internet connection and a PC. All you need is the file we send you or the web address that will connect you to your copy of Microsoft Project
